Maintenance and abandon, questioning one’s sense of reality, exploring self-love and that which undermines it, including the self. The title of this work alludes to the short story by Charlotte Perkins Gilman written in 1892 which explores hysteria and women’s imprisonment in society. The spirit/soul and the body/ego that contain our wild ghosts.
