Humberto Barajas Bustamante

Humberto Barajas Bustamante (1994) also known as Stranger bot, is a young Mexican artist born in Guanajuato capital, graduated with a degree in Plastic Arts.

He has participated in six individual exhibitions and more than twenty group exhibitions, among which are: “Death” Don Quixote Iconographic Museum, “Amnesia” Hermenegildo Bustos Guanajuato Gallery, The Royal Talens National Artistic Painting Contest at the Soumaya Museum, The 8th International Biennial of University Visual Art and in four editions of the National Meeting of Young Art in Aguascalientes.

He has been awarded with several distinctions among which is; the first place at the national level in the National Meeting of Young Art XLI, the National Scholarship for Young Creators 2019 by FONCA, the award for contemporary artist 2020 in the 6th edition of the Guanajuato Salon, and multiple international mentions within printed publications and Web.

In the recent years of his life he has continuously dedicated himself to perfecting his painting technique, seeking the dissemination and participation of his work in the professional field of the arts. And currently his works reside in private collections in Mexico, the United States, Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Norway, Holland, Romania, Canada, Belgium, among others.
